An U.s. Werewolf within London occurs as horror film released in 1981, written and directed by John Landis. It stars David Naughton, Griffin Dunne and Jenny Agutter. Plot synopsis

Both U.s. university student, David Kessler (Naughton) & Jack Goodman (Dunne), come outings on the Yorkshire moors when they are attacked by the big creature. Jack is flushed. David, although mauled, lives & is taken to the London hospital. Whilst he wakes higher a select few period down the road, he doesn't remember what happened & is told of his friend's dying. He is around Alex's London flat while a full moon rises and he turns into the wolfman.
